Joe Taphouse - Sound/Editing
I'm Joe, and I have got the job of managing the sound of our Documentary production. The main role of sound is to ensure it conquers a perfect relationship by complimenting the visuals with the sound & vice versa. Sound is key to any production being diagetic or non-diagetic, it captures the importance, feelings & the general mood being set onto the audience.
Being the manager of Sound, i will be closely working with the Editor towards the end of the project. Also the Producer and the rest of the crew to establish the visuals from the DoP by interacting it with the sound so we're all on the same wave length during the production process. However having the job of Sound the disadvantages is the decibles especially outside so I will have to be aware of that.
