Daniel Ashfield-Producer
As a producer for this piece it is my role to organise the others into getting their work completed by all the deadlines. It's up to me to make sure that we are all going in the same direction and are sure of what it is we have to do. In terms of the documentary itself it will be my job to contact those we wish to include and give them the correct consent forms as well as check with Ofcom or the University of Winchesters ethics page whether we are allowed to be doing what it is we will be doing.
In my role I have to look at the production and see that it runs smoothly and have my say when a decision needs to be made about something. When reviewing other documentaries I need to research how they were made and the type of production that they used so that I may apply this to our work. This will help present the documentary in the way it was meant to be shown. I will be working closely with all members in this group but especially that of the director so that I can make it possible that they are provided with all they need to make the documentary.
